This is our second litter. They were born approximately
Jan 25th, 2003.
The mother was a Maine Coon mix and that influence is seen in each of these
kittens.
He's a beautiful kitten as one can see here. We call him Wooli because
when he was little, he looked like a little wooly polar bear. He's got that
gorgeous seal point coloring, however he's now after a year, starting to get
darker which you will soon see in other pictures.
Sorry about the red eye, he's not deformed, but rather has the lovely blue eyes
like any Siamese would have.
He's absolutely the most loving kitten I've ever seen, let alone have. He will
come up and mash his face into yours and give you his muzzle to muzzle 'kisses'.
If he's laying down and you rub his bellie, he'll reach up like he wants
to stroke your face and if you kiss him, he'll put his paw down. Very
lovable little guy.
The other of the kittens is black, or at least he appears black; actually
he's black with a dark brown undercoat. He looks black until the sunlight
shines on him then the brown brown undercoat shows.
He too is very lovable, but only snuggles. We call him "Weasel" because
the shape of his face reminded me of a weasel. He apparently ended up with a
latent gene which made his coat black. However, with the brown undercoat
he's got a black face, tail and paws.
Both will generally come up on your lap if you make a little hissing sound
and pat your leg. They do love the attention. That's Raggie in
the chair. She's trying to ignore us, I think.
But this little guy was the smaller one and no one seemed to want him or
cuddle him. I think it was because his brother was the "pretty" one,
with the Siamese markings. So I took this little guy under my wing,
or paw, and he has definitely become my cat.
He's a little sweety.
These guys know how to open doors and reach for the door knobs, but are too
short to reach them. But they know they open the doors if they're not
latched. They will reach under the door and pull it open.
I know cats that will make a mad dash for any open door, but these two will
casually sachet up to an open door and just look out and usually turn and walk
away. We really don't want them to be outside. They are indeed
inside katz. They think they're people... I think. {grin}
Wooli likes to find a comfy place any time he can... no matter where
it is. He looks so sophisticated in his find outfit, but is a simple
hillbilly kat from the Arkansas Ozarks.
