What is Orderliness?
(Another word for orderliness, is neatness) Preparing myself and my surroundings so that I will achieve the greatest efficiency. It's related to the motivational gift of Ruling Scripture Text: "Let all things be done in order." - 1 Corinthians 14:40 Some of the Attributes: "Learning to organize and care for personal possessions." "Giving attention to personal grooming." "Learning to write legibly." Questions to ask yourself: 1. Do you collect things that have little or no future use? 2. Do you have a place for everything you own? 3. Is everything you own in it's place? 4. Do you put things away after using them? 5. Do your clothes and appearance let people know you respect the way God made you? Projects to help instill this quality: Is there something in my life that could use improvement or cleaning? Bible Study Questions: 1. Give an example of orderliness or neatness in the Bible. 2. How did Jesus demonstrate neatness and orderliness? |
