    LOYALTY
    vs
    Unfaithfulness

      What is Loyalty?

  • Using adversity to confirm my commitment to those whom God has called me to serve.
  • It's related to the motivational gift of Ruling

    Scripture Text:

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."  John 15:13

    Some of the Attributes:

  • "Confirming my commitment to a person or cause in time of adversity."  (a.c.e.)
  • "Adopting as your own the wishes and goals of those whom you are serving."
  • "Learning to stand by those you are serving when conflicting pressures increase."

    Questions to ask yourself:

    1.  Do you share problems with others about those you are serving?
    2.  Do you have clearly defined convictions in Christian living that you have purposed to follow, no matter what?
    3.  Do you work for a company to gain personal experience and skills that will help you in working for a different company?
    4.  Are you quick to believe a bad report about a family member or friend?

Projects and Bible Study Questions to help instill this quality:

  • Name some ways that we can demonstrate loyalty to:
  •    a.  The Lord Jesus Christ and God His Father.
  •    b.  Your church or fellowship.
  •    c.  Your employer.
  •    d.  Your family.
  • How did Jesus demonstrate His loyalty to us?
  •    a.  How does He demonstrate it today?
  • Give a Bible example of another loyal character.
  • Give an example of a character who was not loyal.
