What is Endurance?
The inward strength to withstand stress to accomplish God's best.
It's related to the motivational gift of Serving Scripture Text: "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in die season we shall reap, if we faint not." - Galatians 6:9 Some of the Attributes: Maintaining commitment to a goal during times of pressure. Knowing when and how to invest my time and energy. Keeping my focus on the objectives God has given me. Recognizing and laying aside hindrances. Questions to ask yourself: 1. How long can you go without giving in to temptations? 2. Have you developed the habit of prayer? 3. How long have you gone without missing a day of reading Scripture? 4. Have your children seen you give in to your appetite when they know you are trying to reduce? 5. Do you have a goal in life you are willing to die for? 6. Do you use weariness in a task as motivation to renew your strength in the Lord, or do you try to finish it in your own energy? 7. Do you plan on just doing what is required, or do you purpose to do more than is expected? Projects and Bible Study Questions to help instill this quality: Once again Jesus is the greatest example of this quality. How did He demonstrate endurance? Who else in the Bible showed endurance?
